After describing a crypto scam in general terms, accounts messaged offering recovery for a fee. I ignored them. Should I report those, and how do others handle the flood?

Do not engage. Report and block. Legitimate help does not arrive as cold DMs demanding payment.
Moderator note: recovery-scam solicitations are a priority report reason here.
I turned off DMs from non-contacts on that platform for a while. Reduced noise a lot.
